Do you wish to register your Energy Efficient Appliances?
It is a quite simple procedure:

First you should determine if your products comply with the current GEEA criteria. An overview is provided on the Criteria-page but you should also read the applicable product sheet, in which the criteria is explained in detail.

Then download the relevant application form from the Download-page - fill it in sign it and send or fax it to the National Registration Office.

For details on the procedures and rules please refer to the General Rules (including rules on The Use of the Label) and the Rules of the Registration Procedure.

You also can contact your National Registration Office first to receive a Registration Package. They will also be happy to answer all your questions on how to register.

Who should register

Any manufacturer or importer of consumer electronics or IT/office equipment who wants his products to be registered in the GEEA database for any voluntary promotion activity in one or more GEEA member countries.

The GEEA criteria

The products to be registered have to comply with the criteria regularly set and adapted by GEEA in cooperation with industry. The performance values of the products used in the registration procedure are measured by the manufacturer or importer themselves (self declaration). GEEA or other bodies may perform tests on registered products.

Costs

As the activities of GEEA is funded by the members (8 European government agencies and institutions), registration and participation in national promotion activities are free of charge. The information and promotional material used in the National Promotion Activities should be offered free of charge or at cost price.

Rules

If a manufacturer or importer has registered models which do not meet the criteria they will be requested to remove these models from the database. Otherwise the company may be excluded from further participation. Read more in the General Rules (including rules on the use of the label)
